Saltbush Social Enterprises is a not-for-profit organisation leading the way in providing responsive and outcome-focused services particularly to disadvantaged and at-risk Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their families.
Through our newest division, Saltbush Training Services, one of our key objectives is to support job seekers to engage in meaningful employment pathways by providing structured training and workplace skills development.
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Hospitality and Employment Trainer who can make pre-employment and skills development fun and has the ability to motivate, build trusting relationships and get amazing results from participants.
Saltbush delivers a range of workplace skills development programs that support participants to engage in meaningful employment pathways, build their job resilience and retain sustainable employment.
We’re flexible and responsive in our program design, whether it be non-accredited, units, skill sets or a Cert II and have many fantastic local employers ready to take on graduates from our pre-employment courses. We especially like to focus on hospitality where we get the best engagement through our barista, front of house, and entry level food prep topics.
Ideally, you will be a natural born motivator with high energy, who can communicate with influence and can create positive impact and inspire those around them. You would be just perfect if you already had experience, understanding and success in working with our cohort and assisting them to overcome the employment challenges they face in gaining and retaining long term employment.
As an outcome focussed ‘people person’, and with the support of our passionate employment services crew, you will also thrive in your ability to help team up great jobs and employers with motivated job seekers.
If you are passionate about empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to live a life of choice, opportunity and independence and would like to work in a challenging and rewarding role, we think you would be a great addition to the Saltbush family.
